Hi , I am Deepshikha
Photographer, designer, and the same person you'll deal with from first enquiry to final print. A marketing career led me here; watching Doha's families grow in front of my lens is what keeps me here.
Story
I arrived in Doha and began photographing its schools, families and businesses. Since 2016 the studio has grown to hold two passions side by side: corporate photography and branding for companies across Qatar, and fine-art portraiture for the newborns, babies and families behind them.
My approach is simple — honest, connected images. Yes, you’ll receive polished portraits, but you’ll also receive your son mid-laugh, your daughter holding your face. You’ll figure out which one you love most the moment you see them.
Why I Love What I Do
I love that my job is to notice. The way a father instinctively steadies his daughter’s hand. The gap-toothed laugh right before the “proper” smile. Most people don’t see these things happen; my privilege is that I’m standing there, camera ready, when they do.
And I love the long game. A family photographs their newborn with me, then their first birthday, then school portraits, then the next sibling — and one day a gallery wall in their home tells a decade of their story, in pictures I got to make. Design completes it for me: taking those photographs and turning them into albums, books and prints is the difference between owning images and keeping them.
There’s no version of a workday that beats that. I love children who arrive shy and leave waving goodbye — photography, at its best, is just earning someone’s comfort and pressing a button at the right second.
Doha has been generous to me — its families let me into their most ordinary, extraordinary days. That trust is the part I never take for granted, and honestly, it’s why I’m still here.
