You only get one chance to book the right newborn photographer, and I feel privileged being a specialist newborn photographer in Market Harborough. “I wish we had real newborn pictures” is the most common phrase I hear, it’s a fragile time, and easy to miss.
How it Works
I highly recommend booking newborn photography before baby arrives to ensure availability while baby is tiny! After giving birth, you just want to spend time with your baby not be researching photographers! Once you are booked you are guaranteed availability and I will send you a session guide with what to wear and what to bring. When baby is born we confirm a date for your pictures.

You might have noticed a guide in the newborn photography industry that says you should bring your baby in for pictures when they are 10-ish days old. If you are super set on sleeping pictures, these are easier to achieve when your baby is really young. However, ultimately I think you should should come when you feel ready! Maybe you had a perfect birthing experience and feel ready for pictures quickly, but mabe you have been in hospital a bit longer than expected and need a bit more time.
If you are pre-booked, there is no time pressure, your booking won’t expire, come when you are ready!
We do everything on baby’s terms and everything to keep your baby happy. But please do not worry about your baby crying, sometimes baby do cry – I’m there to help! It’s fine if you cry too, this is a very emotional time in life for you 😉
I always encourage you to pre-book, you get £50 off (because it really helps my work flow) and it’s simply one less thing for you to worry about after giving birth. You can pre-book online with your due date, then reach out to me once baby has arrived and based on how your are both feeling we fix a date for your pictures.
It’s a huge deal bringing a baby home and suddenly being a mum responsible for this new little life, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed – especially if you are down on sleep too! It’s fine if you need more time. It’s fine if you prefer pictures at-home, they are brilliant too. But please do know this isn’t about proving anything, you can’t not be “good enough” to be in pictures with your baby. I’m not judging anything, I’ve been there! I’m entirely here to make this possible for you if that’s what you would like.
They are equally good! Studio is very “clean and minimal” because it’s very plain backgrounds which gives veery calm images. At home will have lots of your own environment so your images will be less “minial” but tell more of your story with lots of personality!
At-home means you don’t have to pack bags and leave your house – you will have everything you need around you. And most importantly, you DO NOT have to clean or tidy your house because I’m coming.
